Prohibited Items Policy

Items that may never be listed on eddy, whatever the price. Listings are removed and repeat offences lead to a ban.
1. Illegal and dangerous
- Counterfeit or replica goods, including "inspired by" and "1:1" items
- Stolen goods or goods of unclear origin
- Weapons, ammunition, knives designed as weapons, pepper spray
- Drugs, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, nicotine, vapes, alcohol
- Fireworks, explosives, hazardous chemicals
- Recalled products
2. Regulated
- Medication, supplements, medical devices, contact lenses
- Opened cosmetics, used underwear and swimwear bottoms
- Live animals, animal parts from protected species, ivory, fur from endangered animals
- Financial products, gift cards, lottery tickets, currency
- Personal data, accounts, licences, subscriptions
3. Offensive
- Hate symbols and propaganda
- Sexual content
- Items that glorify violence or terrorism
4. Detection
We combine keyword and image screening, human moderation and member reports. Suspicious listings are held for review before going live. Sellers are told why a listing was removed and can appeal.
