eddy works because people trust each other. These are the rules that keep it that way.
1. Be honest
Describe items exactly as they are — every flaw, the real brand, the real size. Use your own photos.
2. Be respectful
No harassment, hate speech, threats or discrimination — in listings, chats, reviews or support conversations.
3. Keep it on eddy
Do not ask for or offer payment outside eddy. It removes Buyer Protection for the buyer and is the most common scam we see.
4. Play fair in auctions
No shill bidding, no bid retraction games, no coordinating with other bidders.
5. Reviews are earned
Only real completed orders can be reviewed. Never trade, buy or pressure for reviews.
6. One account
One person, one account. Business sellers declare themselves as such.
7. Report, don't retaliate
Use the report buttons or the notice form. Our team investigates every report and responds.
8. Consequences
Warnings → restrictions → suspension → permanent ban, depending on severity. Counterfeits, stolen goods and scams skip straight to a ban. Every decision comes with a reason and a right to appeal.
