Fees
Shown before you pay. Listing is free — eddy takes a 10% commission only when your item sells. No listing fees, no promotion fees, no payout fees.
What eddy charges
- Listing an item
- Free — unlimited listings, photos and edits.
- Selling
- 10% commission when your item sells, deducted from your payout. It covers secure payments and running eddy — there is nothing to pay to list.
- Buying
- 5% + $0.70 Buyer Protection per order — a flat 2% on orders $500 and above — shown on every product page and in the cart before checkout. It funds refunds for lost or not-as-described items and secure payments.
- Shipping
- At cost, chosen at checkout. No mark-up.
- Payouts
- Free to your bank or card, usually within 1–2 business days after the order completes.
- Promotions
- Free — bundle discounts, offers to likers, smart pricing and saved-search alerts cost nothing. Search placement is only sold as a clearly marked Boost.
- Boost (optional)
- From $1.95 per listing for 3 days or $3.95 for 7 days, shown with a Boosted tag at the top of results. Boost 2, 3 or 5+ listings together and the pack is 5%, 10% or 15% cheaper.
- Vehicles
- $15.00 one-off listing fee per car or motorcycle — the only listing fee on eddy, paid when you publish. No commission on the sale.
- Car parts
- No listing fee. eddy keeps 8% of the sale price instead, taken from the payout.

What we will never do
- Charge a fee that is not shown before you confirm.
- Sell search placement — results are ranked by relevance and freshness only.
- Hold a seller's money after delivery is confirmed plus 3 days.
- Change the fee on an order after it is placed.
